3D Model and Animation created for a DRTV ad campaign to be broadcasted in Canada.

The goal was to showcase the inner operations of the product, enhancing the filmed footage with 3D animation.

The biggest challenge on this project was achieving the transparency effect while keeping the rendering times low enough to meet the required deadline.

This was accomplished by creating a Falloff material rendered directly in Scanline, which was then composed in After Effects as an Overlay layer. The result is a transparency effect which only adds a few minutes to the final render, while also allowing real-time control.
