3D Kitchen Appliance

Instead of filming the real product, the goal was to realistically merge the 3D model into the scene, allowing for the different parts to be animated to match the voice-over.

Because of the rendering time restrictions, the glass was one of the biggest challenges. Instead of using refractions, it was rendered as a shiny object reflecting an HDRI image. This was then composed in After Effects using different blending modes to achieve the transparency.

Everything was modeled and animated in 3ds Max, rendered in VRay and composed in After Effects.

Final Render composed into client's filmed background.
